In 2020, AAHA conducted a Phase III data recovery of the Ryon Site in Forestville, Maryland. Previous investigations identified this as the site of the Ryon Farmhouse, which was constructed in the 1830s and demolished in the 1980s. During this time, the house was owned by multiple generations of the Ryon family. AAHA identified 12 features at the site, including a root cellar dating to the Ryon occupation and a larger cellar probably associated with an earlier nineteenth-century occupation.
