In 2019, AAHA contributed to an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed Skipjack Wind Farm Project (SKWF). The SJWF will be installed along the outer coastal shelf in the Atlantic Ocean roughly 19 miles (30.6 km) east of the Delaware shore. Up to 16 wind turbine generators and one offshore substation will be installed along with inter-array cables. AAHA reviewed all terrestrial and marine archaeological investigations that have been completed for the project to date, and provided recommendations to the final EIS.
