AAHA has a long relationship with the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO). In our most recent partnership at the proposed Chaptico Substation Phase in St. Mary’s County, AAHA completed a timely investigation that identified no archaeological resources. This allowed an important upgrade to the electric grid in St. Mary’s County to go forward without delay.
